The trend is your friend

I’ve been spending alot of time the last few weeks researching “trends” in the public speaking arena. Believe it or not, I’m encouraged by what I see.

Some of the things I see are: Public seminar promoters having a rough time filling their room with attendees, speakers finding it more difficult than ever to get bookings from speakers bureaus and those that are getting booked are having to discount their fees to do so.

There are at least 10 things to consider when a speaker, author or trainer chooses to move from ordinary to unforgettable in the marketplace. Initially it can be contained to three, those being your message, your market and your marketing. Taking your message to your audience in an unforgettable way. That’s what it means to be an unforgettable speaker.

I’m back…

It’s been over two years now that I’ve been away from this work. Those who know me well know that personal development, especially where I work with professional speakers who serve the personal development consumer is my true passion.
