I was planning to talk more about this subject in future posts as we move further into the series of “new rules”, but today I received a link to a beautiful piece of video that you absolutely must see.

Many speakers have found this year to be perhaps the most challenging to their success on so many levels and have become clear that what once worked no longer does. There are a series of new rules for speaker training as well as speaker marketing and these rules have forever changed old business models and methods.

I consider myself fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn many marketing lessons from my mentor, Jim Rohn. During the nearly 3 years that I built seminars for this exceptional man, I sold thousands of seats to his events and hundreds of thousands of dollars of his audio and video products to attendees.
